Hackettstown Medical Center is part of Atlantic Health System, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in New Jersey. HMC has been providing a variety of inpatient and outpatient services to the community since 1973 and primarily serves Warren, Sussex and Morris Counties in New Jersey.

The hospital has been named a Top Performer in Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission for Heart Attack, Pneumonia and Surgical Care. Hackettstown Medical Center maintains designation as a Primary Stroke Center by the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services and by The Joint Commission’s advanced certification program; as well as Joint Commission certification for its Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Replacement programs.

In addition, HMC’s Clinical Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists; the C/T, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, PET and Ultrasound services are accredited by the American College of Radiology; the Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine; and for seven consecutive years, the hospital’s Cardiopulmonary department has earned recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care for Quality of Respiratory Care.
