The 11th Annual Halloween Downtown Event will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at The Gazebo (Main St & West Moore St).
Parade Line Up: 2:00 p.m. – at Centenary University on West Moore St (between Beatty St and Second Ave). Judging will conclude at approximately 2:50 p.m. The winners will be picked and then lead the parade.
Parade: 3:00 p.m. – starts at Centenary University, goes down West Moore St, to the Main St Gazebo where kids will be able to get some candy from Mars Wrigley, a gift from Atlantic Health System/Hackettstown Medical Center and from WRNJ Radio also a free pumpkin from Donaldson Farms. All while supplies last.
There will be a prize given out for the BEST COSTUME for each of the following groups:
Infant to 3-years-old
4-years-old to 6-years-old
7-years-old to 10yrs old
Family
Pet (Any Age)
After the parade, kids will then be able to Trick-or-Treat at the downtown businesses.

- First Place Tattoo-Halloween Flash Tattoo Event! from 1pm-8pm for some spooky tattoos and killer deals! Our tattoo artists are offering traditional tattoos and small tattoo designs at $80 and $120 price points.

- 12:00-3:00 pm Halloween Costume Contest Fundraiser at Man Skirt Brewing (144 Main St) Hosted by the Friends of the Hackettstown Library.
