The 12th Annual Halloween Downtown Event will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm at The Gazebo (Main St and West Moore St).
Parade Line Up: 2 pm – at Centenary University on West Moore St (between Beatty St and Second Ave). Judging will conclude at approximately 2:50 pm. The winners will be picked and then lead the parade.
Parade: 3 pm – Starts at Centenary University, proceeds down West Moore Street to the Main Street Gazebo, where kids will be able to receive candy from Mars Wrigley, a gift from Hackettstown Stormwater Management, Atlantic Health System/Hackettstown Medical Center, and WRNJ Radio, as well as a free pumpkin from Donaldson Farms. (All while supplies last.)
There will be a prize given out for the best costume for each of the following groups:
- Infant to 3-years-old
- 4-years-old to 6-years-old
- 7-years-old to 10yrs old
- Family
- Pet (Any Age)
After the parade, kids will then be able to Trick-or-Treat at the downtown businesses and Trunk-or-Treat from 3 pm to 5 pm in the rear parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church (213 Main St) and in the municipal lot behind Exit Realty (149 Main St).
