St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The 17th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade will be Sunday, March 8, 2026. This Irish-American tradition attracts thousands of visitors—making this parade one of the biggest events in Hackettstown. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade will kick off at 3:30 pm with numerous participants including Irish dance groups, Irish bands, community groups, bagpipes and drums, Centenary University and Hackettstown High School teams and clubs, Surrounding area fire departments and rescue squads, as well as hometown favorites Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers and the Hackettstown Community Band. The parade takes place on Main Street from Grand Avenue to Warren Street.


NEW THIS YEAR: WE ARE ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE ST. PATRICKS DAY GRAND MARSHAL. The honor includes marching in the Hometown Holiday Parade on December 5, 2025, a reception in their honor on March 6, 2026 and to lead the 2026 St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday, March 8th.

ALL NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED VIA THIS FORM NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 31, 2025.

QUIET SENSORY ZONE for those who are sensitive to loud noise. This location will be marked by brightly colored lawn signs. It will start at W. Plane Street and go to Center Street. PLEASE NO SIRENS, LOUD NOISE, MUSIC, BEEPING, REVVING, ETC. in this zone.

The parade is pet-friendly, with a special pet Irish Costume Contest sponsored by Doggie Styleash. Judging will be held at Czig Meister Brewing, located at 106 Valentine St., starting at 3:30 pm sharp. Pets will then be invited to walk in the parade after judging.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District kicks off the Parade weekend with a Grand Marshal Reception at David’s Country Inn on Thursday, March 5, 2026, to honor the St. Patrick’s Parade Grand Marshal. The reception dinner features a live performance by Rory O’Moore School of Pipes and Drums and a dance performance by Slattery School of Irish Dance.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District kicks off the Parade weekend with a Grand Marshal Reception! The reception dinner features a live performance by Rory O’Moore School of Pipes and Drums and a dance performance by Slattery School of Irish Dance.

Leprechaun Crawl

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, dress like a Leprechaun or wear your favorite GREEN attire as you visit the participating businesses to kick off the celebration!

Celebrate at Marley’s Gotham Grill, Grand Avenue Tavern, Man Skirt Brewing, and Czig Meister Brewing Company. Your kind donation gets you one sheet of tickets, which includes a coupon good for one beer at each location. Selections vary per location.

Tickets can be purchased at the BID office at 219 Main St., below, and various businesses: PRESALE TICKETS can be purchased for $25 through February 27, 2026.

Tickets purchased after February 27, will be $30. Coupon sheets can be picked up by appointment in the BID office. The Leprechaun Crawl tickets can be used anytime between Feb 28 and March 31st.
