Job Description

Actively searching for a smart, talented and internet savvy Office/Family Assistant for a busy entrepreneur in the Hackettstown, NJ area. Candidates for this opportunity should be “with it” and “sharp thinkers” and able to work a schedule that will require occasional flexibility. The employer is looking for someone who is extremely detail-oriented, energetic, professional, capable of managing and creating multiple social media accounts, organized, proficient in; word, excel, outlook, have the ability to multitask, work with a diverse group of people in various situations and circumstances. Employer owns several businesses in the Hackettstown area and local travel between locations may be required. Their will be some crossover with the employers personal and business life, extreme confidentiality is required, and candidate will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain social media accounts for employer’s businesses

General office work (both home and business), answering phones, opening mail, internet research, home organization, calendaring, and making appointments

Need to have the ability to work as a team with other employees on company projects at various locations

Act as a trusted fill in when other employees are sick or on vacation
Work side by side with employer, and employer’s family
Office upkeep, making sure computers, printers and office equipment is fully functioning
Household organizational projects
Personal shopping, gifts, errands, organizing travel
Other duties, as assigned by employer

Job Requirements

Applicant Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar capacity
Excellent references from past employers
Ability to pass a background investigation
Must be dynamic and proactive, anticipate the employer’s needs
Team player with a “can do” and “I’ll figure it out” attitude

Able to perform tasks without a lot of direction

Able to lift, bend, perform various household tasks, some of which might be physical in nature
Possess the ability and desire to be flexible and do whatever it takes to get the job done
Experienced multi-tasker who has the ability to respond to any request in a timely fashion and follow through until its conclusion
Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to read and speak English fluently
Must be organized, hardworking, trustworthy, calm and positive
Service-oriented with a passion for excellence
Valid US driver’s license & reliable transportation
