DESCRIPTION:The 12th Annual Halloween Downtown Event will be held on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, from 3 pm to 5 pm at The Gazebo (Main St and West Moore St). \nParade Line Up: 2 pm – at Centenary University on West Moore St (between Beatty St and Second Ave). Judging will conclude at approximately 2:50 pm. Together\, we are making that happen. \nFrom 6 pm to 10 pm\, neighbors throughout Hackettstown and across the nation are asked to lock their doors\, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement. Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils\, most communities celebrate National Night Out by hosting block parties\, festivals\, parades\, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations\, seminars\, youth events\, visits from emergency personnel\, exhibits and more. \nNational Project Coordinator\, Matt Peskin said\, “This is a night for our nation to stand together and promote awareness\, safety\, and neighborhood unity.
