Their high-energy Motown ensemble will keep you grooving all night long. Katie Henry Band
Katie Henry, from Sussex County, composes her songs on both piano and guitar. Bass player Antar Goodwin, meanwhile, co-wrote with Katie many of the songs on her new CD. B-3 organist John Ginty, who can be heard on the CD and occasionally live with Katie, produced the album. Even before the CD was completed last fall her songs were getting plenty of attention at festivals in the area, including Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest and the Black Potatoe Festival. In addition to the originals on the CD, Katie often plays favorite classic blues and rock covers from artists “who have influenced me over the years.”
