Vote for Business Owner (3)
Ron Cain III, Cain & Sons Fire Equipment
My name is Ron Cain III. I own and operate Cain & Sons Fire Equipment, on Mountain Avenue. My grandfather started the company in 1972 in Pine Brook, NJ. After about 20 years in finance and insurance, I became president of Cain & Sons in 2016. I have lived in the Hackettstown area for 11 years, and I have 4 children in the Hackettstown School District. I moved the company to Hackettstown in 2019 to serve the community that has become my home. I am nominating myself to run for a BID board position because I am passionate about community and small business growth. I have an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, and my strengths include finance, sales, networking, customer service, and communication.

Carl Smith, C&L Subs N Grub
Hi I have been in town with our deli since December 2011 at our old location on main street. December 2018 we moved our new bigger location and added Cluck U Chicken to our current Deli. I have been on the events committee in the past. I have seen some changes for the good and not so good. I would like to work with business owner as well as property owner, to help this town grow for the better. Like I had said we opened in 2011 and not looking to leave anytime soon.
Thank you for your time, Carl Smith
