The 28th Annual Spring Festival will return to Hackettstown May 1, 2, 3, on the fields behind Centenary University on Fifth and Reese Avenues. This is a family favorite in the region and a fun way to welcome spring. Mars Wrigley Confectionary and Hackettstown Medical Center are the festival’s primary sponsors. New this year Quick Chek will be a sponsor.
Mars Wrigley Confectionary will host their tried-and-true array of interactive activities, giving away plenty of their famous candy and snack products. In addition, Hackettstown Medical Center will feature a “Teddy Bear Hospital” on Sunday, May 3, from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Children ages 3-6 are invited to bring their ill or injured stuffed animals to the hospital tent for care. Throughout the Festival, the hospital will host variety of games and offer free snacks in its main tent. Additionally, they may soon be announcing a very special visitor to this year’s festival.
Hackettstown’s local radio station, WRNJ, will be broadcasting live from the Festival, providing a mix of music, interviews and fun with on-air personalities and staff. An array of food vendors will be on site offering classic carnival favorites along with healthier options.
Under the entertainment tent, there will be live band performances, community groups and artists for all to enjoy throughout the weekend. Festival admission is free, with a suggested donation for parking.
