Children’s “Block” Party

Hackettstown, NJ, April 17th -22nd The Hackettstown Free Public Library will be hosting a children’s “block party” for a fun week of building and creating.

Drop in at any time throughout the week and the library will have blocks of all shapes and sizes, including Legos, available for open play. Children and their guardians can stop by at any time during the week of April 17th through 22nd.

Discussion On Guadalcanal Campaign

Hackettstown, New Jersey – April 21, 2017 at 6:30 pm – Bob Stead, World War II aficionado, will be presenting on the Guadalcanal Campaign with Hackettstown library patrons.

Collecting over 20 years’ experience, Mr. Stead lectures at schools and community groups sharing his military knowledge that he acquired through academic studies, personal research, and battlefield site visits.

He explains, “There is always something to learn about the pivotal events in history- often quite astounding facts that are little known in general.”

This event is free and open to the public.

Annual Book Sale

Hackettstown, New Jersey, April 27th – 29th, 2017Friends of the Hackettstown Library is having its annual book sale to raise funds for supplying patrons with the latest materials.

Stop by between 9 am – 8 pm Thursday and Friday and between 9 am – 12 pm Saturday.
