Here Comes Spring Festival 2016!
The Annual Spring Festival will take place in Hackettstown the last weekend in April, Friday to Sunday—April 29, April 30, May 1—on the fields behind Centenary College on 5th and Reese Avenues. This is a family favorite in the region and a fun way to welcome spring. Mars Chocolate North America and Hackettstown Medical Center are the Festival’s primary sponsors. Honda of Hackettstown is also a proud sponsor of this event.
Mars Chocolate North America will host their tried and true array of interactive activities, giving away plenty of their famous candy and snack products. In addition, Hackettstown Medical Center will feature a “Teddy Bear Hospital” on Saturday, April 30, from 1:00-4:00pm. Children ages 3-6 are invited to bring their ill or injured stuffed animals to the hospital tent for care. Throughout the Festival, the hospital will host boardwalk themed games and offer free snacks in its main tent.
Hackettstown’s local radio station, RNJ, will be broadcasting live from the Festival, providing a mix of music, interviews and fun with their on-air personalities and staff.
An array of food vendors will be on site offering classic carnival favorites, and healthier options as well. Under the entertainment tent, there will be performances by live bands, community groups and artists throughout the weekend.
Festival hours will be:
- Friday, April 29: 6pm – 10pm
- Saturday, April 30: 12 noon – 10pm
- Sunday, May 1: 12 noon – 6pm
Festival admission is free, with a suggested donation for parking.
