Hosted by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, the annual Hackettstown Spring Festival, located on the fields at the intersection of Fifth and Reese Avenues during the first weekend in May, will feature an M&M’s World® “Pop Up” Store, great food, live music, amusement rides, and even a Teddy Bear Hospital.

Performances by community groups will set the stage in the Dining and Entertainment Tent on Saturday afternoon, followed by an evening of live music beginning at 6pm with ‘The Zero’s”, followed by “The Needful”, who will close out the night. On Sunday afternoon, look for ‘Dance Expressions’ and ‘Centenary Stage Company’ to perform selections from their upcoming shows. With the Festival Food Court nearby, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of carnival food while taking in the free entertainment

In addition to their tried and true Festival activities and generous giveaways, Mars Chocolate North America will bring a temporary M&M’s World® “Pop Up” Store to this year’s Festival. The store will offer “Made in Hackettstown” items, as well as popular M&M’s merchandise for purchase during the following times: Friday, May 1st, 6-10pm; Saturday, May 2nd, 12 noon-8pm; and Sunday, May 3rd, 12 noon-4pm.

Hackettstown Regional Medical Center will also be mixing it up by adding a “Teddy Bear Hospital” to their activity area this year. Children ages 3 to 6 are invited to bring their ill or injured stuffed animals to the Teddy Bear Hospital (next to HRMC’s main tent) between 1 and 4pm on Saturday, May 2nd. HRMC will host boardwalk games and offer free healthy snacks in their main tent throughout the entire weekend.

The hours of the Spring Festival are as follows:
Friday, May 1st, 6-10pm
Saturday, May 2nd, 12 noon-10pm
Sunday, May 3rd, 12 noon-6pm

Discounted pre-sale ride tickets are available at Jack’s Scissor Wiz, Fulton Bank on Route 517 and on Mountain Avenue, Panther Valley Pharmacy and the Hackettstown BID Office from now until noon on Friday, May 1st. Pricing for pre-sale ride tickets is $20 for a sheet of 30 tickets. For those preferring a pay one price option, unlimited ride wristbands will be available Friday for $30 each, and Sunday for $25 each. Wristbands will not be sold or applicable for rides on Saturday. Admission to the Festival is free, with a suggested donation for parking.
